The PLCAC’s 72nd Annual General Meeting & Convention was held in Maui, HI from April 20 to April 24, 2026. The event brought together more than 350 delegates for a memorable and engaging gathering, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa.

The PLCAC staff and Board of Directors welcomed members of the PLCAC Regular and Associate companies, the four craft pipeline unions, and sister associations. Attendees exchanged ideas, discovered new industry innovations and built meaningful connections throughout the general business sessions and events.

The convention was curated with comprehensive networking opportunities for both delegates and their families. The keynote speakers during the morning sessions included Professor Ian Lee; Associate Professor at Sprott School of Business at Carlton University, and Robert Bryce; Author, Reporter, and Producer. Moreover, we were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Maui, Richard Bissen, to our convention. The mayor’s presence reflected Maui’s warm hospitality and strong sense of community.

The annual golf tournament took place at the beautiful Ka’anapali Golf Course, where a friendly competition raised over $2,500 – later matched by McCaw’s Drilling & Blasting Ltd., and donated to the Salvation Army Maui. Moreover, the activities included Surf Lessons, a visit to the Maui Ocean Center, and West Maui Sea Cliff Hike. The John Deere Lu’au was a vibrant oceanfront celebration of Maui’s traditional cuisine, music and cultural performance. The Tropical Twist costume party gave the attendees a chance to be creative and have fun.

A sincere thank you to all the delegates who participated and sponsors whose support made the 72nd Annual General Meeting & Convention a memorable success.
