OE Training Center Crosby, TX

On November 13, 2019 the Canadian Pipeline Advisory Council (CPAC) met at the International Union of Operating Engineers’ International Training and Education Center (The Center) in Crosby, TX. The Center was designed to develop and improve the skills of Operating and Stationary Engineers to meet the needs of the industry.

A significant portion of the Center has been designated to provide theoretical and practical training for the pipeline construction sector. A variety of sidebooms, excavators, backhoes, cranes, pipe lifters and directional drilling equipment were actively training industry newcomers and refining the skills of experienced Operating Engineers.

The Training Center was also the April 10, 2019 backdrop for President Donald Trump’s signing of Executive Orders aimed at speeding pipeline construction and boosting the oil and gas industry.

The PLCAC Board of Directors thank the Operating Engineers (IUOE) for hosting the CPAC meeting and congratulate the IUOE for establishing this state of-the-art facility that is providing valuable training for existing and future pipeliners.
