NPL Canada Ltd. Continues Journey to Fight Cancer

For the 7th consecutive year, NPL Canada Ltd. (NPL) participated in the “Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer” (the Ride), held June 10-11 in Toronto and Niagara Falls, ON. The event, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017, benefits the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Since 2008, the Ride (which features three separate routes) has raised over $155 million for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Funds raised through the Ride support personalized cancer medicine research, treatment advances, education and new standards of care at Princess Margaret, across Ontario, and around the world.

“The last decade has seen many cancer care breakthroughs and countless lives saved,” says Neil Waugh, vice president of NPL Canada Ltd. “ The dedication of NPL Canada’s team to participating in this 2-day, 200 kilometer journey shows that cancer is no match against our conviction to conquer it. NPL Canada Ltd. is incredibly proud to be a part of this campaign.”

Through its fundraising efforts, NPL was able to raise over $80,000. Support for the dedicated NPL riders throughout their journey was provided by Tina Fink, Chelsey Hester and Ciaran Hester.
