Careers in Pipelining

Variety – Challenge – Team – Satisfaction – Rewards

Words which characterize a pipelining lifestyle.

Pipeline careers offer rewarding opportunities, accompanied by choice and flexibility. Employers and labour leaders are committed to sustaining this essential Canadian workforce of “pipeliners.”

Pipeliners are skilled people who live and work in communities across Canada. Pipeliners build, maintain and renew all facets of Canada’s pipeline systems, from the Distribution systems that deliver natural gas to produce cleaner electricity and heat homes, through to mainline infrastructure used to transport energy products.

Pipelining is a project-based business. Demand for pipeliners varies based on the economy, energy sector development, regulatory approvals and pipeline lifecycle maintenance and renewal.
