Convention Planning Committee
The Convention Committee is responsible to the Board for planning and oversight matters pertaining to the Annual Convention.
The Committee oversees the choice of convention site, program and operations and makes recommendations to the Board. It is responsible for establishing preferences or priorities for social functions, food, beverage and entertainment for the Annual Convention. The Committee chair works with the Executive Director to prepare a convention budget for submission to the Directors and works closely with the many Associate Members who sponsor or co-sponsor functions and donate prizes, gifts, etc. The Committee coordinates all catering and convention services with the hotel and outside agencies throughout the Convention.
